Length of earrings with earwires: approximately 6cm
Totumo is the hard and durable shell of the Calabash tree, which grows in South and Central America as well as in the Caribbean region.
Fruits have an oval shape - the Indigenous people used them to make dishes, which are sometimes in common use even nowadays.
They also make rattles called maracas and create exotic, vegan & organic jewelry of it. Despite its size, totumo is a very light material, so you can wear earrings with totumo very comfortably without putting too much weight on your ears.
